Hi! We are so glad you found us.

We are peers who have grown up with the stress and stigma of a parent's substance use: the stress of a home environment trying to heal, and the stigma that meant we couldn't talk about it without fear (until we found each other). Welcome to our Starlings Peers Community.

Growing up with a parent's addiction can be super stressful, so I am so proud of you for being here, and I hope you are too.

You and your family deserve a safe and happy life, to know you are loved, and to know there is a community that has your back.

It's not your fault, and you, your experiences and your feelings matter and and we will keep reminding you until you believe it.

Scroll through our peer library that was created for peers, by peers with lived experience with the stress and stigma of a parent's substance use to help you feel less alone, more informed, and more hopeful on your healing journey.
