About the event

1:1 Peer Mentorship at Starlings was created to meet the needs of individuals who prefer a 1:1 connection space vs a group setting. For us, the mentorship space isn’t just about support—it’s about connecting, learning, and growth next to people who get it. Each mentorship relationship is a space where you can make sense of and practice sharing your story, identify and set your own goals, and work on steps toward the life you envision with someone who gets it.

Thanks for being here.

We are all a part of the village raising the next generation. How can you BEST contribute.

In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honour and acknowledge Moh’kinsstis, and the traditional Treaty 7 territory and oral practices of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, as well as the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3 within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. We acknowledge all Nations – Indigenous and non – who live, work and play on this land, and who honour and celebrate this territory. Finally, we remain committed to continue to learn about the truth regarding Colonialism and residential schools in Canada, and will actively work towards reconciliation while advocating for our government to do so as well.
